Tara and Stefan’s Clever Plan – Novak Djokovic’s Enchanted Adventure

Novak Djokovic has become a well-known personality as he has grown immensely through tennis. The Serbian player has won a plethora of titles through hard work and dedication. He brings a similar mindset to his off-court life, especially when it comes to being with his family. The Djoker married his wife, Jelena Ristic, in 2013 after eight years of dating. Since then, the pair have stayed strong and had two children, Stefan and Tara.

Over the years, the children have made an appearance in the stands, particularly during his high-profile matches like the Wimbledon Championships final.

Fatherhood and Djokovic Stefan Djokovic was born on 22nd October 2014, and Tara Djokovic was born on 2nd September 2017. Novak is a proud father to both. He frequently praises his children, whom he refers to as “my angels” in interviews and tributes on Instagram. While his children certainly learn a lot from Novak, he has said that he also learns a lot from them.

I have a privilege to be a father to wonderful kids, so I try to take that childish energy and fuel my inner child because I tend to forget my inner child a lot because everything is so serious,” the 23-time Grand Slam winner said in a press conference in 2022. Becoming a parent has agreed heavily with Novak, as he has adopted the role of family man wholeheartedly.

Public appearances Novak, Jelena and their children are a close family, as they are often spotted together. The family often comes by to watch the matches of the Serbian star. They were in the crowd when Nole played in Wimbledon.

While the former number 1 was busy preparing for his matches, they were also present during his clash against Carlos Alcaraz. As the Djoker addressed his son in his speech, he even shed a few tears.

Although they were there for his Wimbledon stint, his children were absent during his glorious French Open run. He later revealed that his son was busy on a school trip and wanted to be with his friends, a move Nole supported completely. Although Stefan may not have been present during the clay slam, he possesses a knack for tennis.

Stefan’s athletic abilities Stefan Djokovic, like Novak Djokovic, has a deep love for tennis in his heart. The Serbian, after earning 95 titles, wanted to create a legacy with his son. As he did want his son to play tennis, he affirmed that he would not force him to pick up a racket. However, Novak’s nature has rubbed off on Stefan, and the 10-year-old also aims to become a tennis player in his life.

To help his little guy become a great player in his own right, Novak would often play rallies with him to improve his confidence. Along with playing with him, Stefan likes to playfully annoy his father by mimicking the swing of Rafael Nadal, a habit his father advises against. But the technical advice Stefan receives is something thousands of aspiring players vie for.

Unlike her brother, Tara has no interest in playing tennis, but she watches it frequently. Her interests lie in gymnastics and ballet. With his two children, Novak has attained the goals he set for himself in his personal life.
